Sea View Farm is seeking a Farm Technician to join our Farming Operations team. This hands-on permanent role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating heavy machinery, and contributing to a dynamic agricultural environment.
What You’ll Do
- Operate planting, harvesting, and storage equipment according to seasonal requirements.
- Perform daily lubrication, routine maintenance, and seasonal servicing of farm machinery and trucks.
- Conduct pre-season and in-season repairs to keep operations running smoothly.
- Prepare and clean equipment and facilities before and after use, including warehouse setup for storage season.
- Assist with additional operational projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Education: High School Diploma (required)
Experience:
- Class D driver’s license
- Farming experience (preferred)
- Heavy equipment operation experience (preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent work ethic and ability to be a reliable team player.
- Adaptability to work in varying weather conditions and changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work extended hours throughout planting and harvesting seasons.
