At Valley Caregiver Resource Center, we believe that exceptional care starts with exceptional people. We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and proactive leader to join our OASIS Adult Day Program as our Site Coordinator. This role is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the program, supervising direct care staff, coordinating participant services, and helping ensure every participant and caregiver receives the high quality care, dignity, and support they deserve.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and conduct recreational and therapeutic activities such as parties, cultural activities, educational programs, and special entertainment.
· Maintain accurate documentation of activities, level of participation, and other necessary details.
· Maintain accurate documentation of participants’ records such as emergency information, medications, care plans, and activity attendance.
· Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for site activities. Report safety, repair, and maintenance needs t the Program Manager.
· Oversee the work of site volunteers.
OTHER RELATED DUTIES
· Assist in monitoring and implementing food program.
· Medication management as assigned and trained.
· Attend in-service training sessions and meetings as requested.
· Participate in annual fundraiser event(s).
· Ensure and maintain a safe, professional work environment.
· Complete other projects and duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate Degree or vocational training in social services or related field preferred.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in social services, gerontology or a related field.
- Bilingual skills strongly preferred.
- Experience in a non-profit organization preferred.
- Understanding of the unique needs of caregivers, the elderly and families.
· Ability to demonstrate good judgement in providing resources to a diverse group of clients.
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under deadline pressure.
· Highly organized and accurate with attention to detail in all areas of work.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of VCRC, staff and client information.
· Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Strong electronic, verbal and written English skills to communicate with supervisor, employees, clients and community members.
Other Requirements
- Must possess a valid California Driver License and have access to a fully insured vehicle.

· Acute hearing is necessary for telephone and in-person communication with staff, customers, and vendors.
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
