Responsibilities
As a CNA, you may work in Home health settings, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, long-term care facilities, hospitals, behavioral health centers, and other healthcare settings.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
- Transfer and reposition patients safely
- Measure and record vital signs
- Assist with mobility and ambulation
- Feed patients and document intake
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Provide compassionate, respectful patient care
- Follow all facility policies and infection control procedures

Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA Certification
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (preferred)
- Ability to pass background screening (facility dependent)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude
