Summary of Position
This position is responsible for performance in all areas related to provision of technical and business solutions to clients/customers. Customers consist of organizations and businesses employing diverse information management environments.
Organizational Relationship
- Reports to President and Project Manager
- Works individually and as a member of project teams
Essential Duties
- Provides process, data and object modeling in a variety of application and database environments throughout the project development lifecycle.
- Provides database design, development and enhancement, as well as management and coordination of changes to existing applications.
- Develops costing proposals for projects, performs risk analysis and manages change control.
- Provides business analysis, business area assessment, user needs analysis and business systems design for major projects.
- Conducts comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and prepares business cases for new projects.
- Assists with the development of client information management standards and evaluation of technology trends.
- Contributes to business area assessment, user needs analysis and preparation of business systems design.
- Prepares functional documentation for internal and external audiences, documenting standard operating procedures and process flow.
- Works directly with developers and QA to flesh out system design.
- Serves as liaison with vendors, up and downstream technical development teams and business users to create and finalize test plan/scenarios.
- Executes and or reviews testing strategies, testing cycles, documents results and creates sign-off documentation.
- Updates system documentation as changes/enhancements are deployed to ensure its accuracy.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5-7 years of Business Analysis experience
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication
- Willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones, implementation deadlines and the like.
- Proven knowledge of application design, development and implementation of projects.
- Knowledge of current data management methodologies, technologies and standards.
- Sound working knowledge of and significant hands on experience with at least four of the following:
- SAP ABAP Object Oriented programming
- Programming experience in Menu Painter, Screen Painter, Function Modules, Batch Data Communication, Classical, Interactive and ALV reports, Data Dictionary and Smart Forms.
- Experience in SAP, SD, SRM, HR, PP, PM, WM and CO
- Dialog programming and screen design
- SQL Trace and Runtime Analysis
- Spatial Data Management Technologies
- Batch Data Communication and scheduling Batch jobs
- Strong skills in Web application and development

- Must have ability to travel, as required and must possess a valid passport.
