Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our residential remodeling team. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality work, pays attention to detail, and can work independently. While painting is the primary focus, you may be asked to assist with other construction tasks, demolition, or clean-up as needed to keep projects moving.
Responsibilities
- Perform interior and exterior painting on residential remodeling projects.
- Prepare surfaces, including patching, sanding, caulking, and priming.
- Complete touch-ups and punch-list work to a high standard.
- Assist with drywall repairs and other construction tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and the construction team.
- Pick up and transport materials, tools, and equipment if needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all safety requirements and properly use PPE and tools.
- Submit daily jobsite reports and photos (training provided).
Qualifications
- 2+ years minimum painting experience.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Experience with surface preparation and professional painting techniques.
- Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments.
This is a part time position which could quickly move into a full-time position.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
