Pay: Up to $24/hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp to hire will hire perm quickly
- A: Monday–Thursday | Starts at 6:00 AM
- B: Monday–Thursday | starts 4:30 PM
- C: Friday–Sunday | starts 6:00 AM
We are seeking an experienced Metal Finisher / Hand Finisher with hands-on experience finishing precision aerospace metal parts.
This is NOT a general machine operator or assembly position.
You must have experience:
- Deburring, sanding, grinding, polishing and smoothing precision metal parts as final approval.
- Removing burrs, sharp edges and surface imperfections
- Using hand/power tools such as files, stones, sandpaper, grinders, rotary tools and polishing tools
- Reading blueprints, drawings and part specifications
- Using calipers, micrometers, gauges or other precision measuring tools
- Inspecting and personally reworking parts to meet required finish and quality standards
- Working with aerospace parts, airplance metals or components
- Previous hands-on metal finishing/deburring experience required
- Aerospace manufacturing experience required
- Experience working with precision-machined metal parts
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
