American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a night shift position in a freestanding emergency department setting, requiring ARRT-R certification and a minimum of 2 years of recent CT and radiology experience.

Freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting
-
Performs CT scans and radiological exams

Documents using Meditech EMR; proficiency in Centricity PACS system required

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week contract

Minimum of 2 years of recent CT and radiology experience (experience must be within the last 6 months)

ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required
-
RT (Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer) license required if applicable

BLS required (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date); AHA or ARC accepted — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date

Vocational school graduate or equivalent education

Proficiency with Centricity PACS and Meditech

US SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted

Two professional references required (Florida facility)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities

Obtain patient consent, prepare patients, and explain procedures prior to imaging

Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to a fast-paced emergency environment is strongly preferred

Black scrubs required
