Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Clean carpets using specialized equipment to remove stains, dirt, and allergens effectively
- Restock supplies including paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety procedures and use environmentally friendly cleaning products to promote sustainability
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks for prompt resolution
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and ensure all areas meet established cleanliness standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and sealing floors
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning equipment and methods
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
