Job Summary
Bobaloons is a locally owned fast-casual restaurant serving fried foods, sandwiches, pitas, hoagies, salads, and more. We are looking for dependable team members who enjoy working in a friendly, fast-paced environment and take pride in doing quality work. Employees assist with a variety of restaurant tasks including food preparation, customer service, cleaning, cooking, and dishwashing. Most shifts are during our regular restaurant hours, with additional evening opportunities available on Fridays and during special events. We work with employee schedules whenever possible and offer a supportive team environment where hard work and a positive attitude are valued.
Duties
- Take customer orders using our Square POS system and handwritten tickets
- Portion ingredients and assist with daily food preparation
- Assemble sandwiches, pitas, hoagies, salads, and other menu items
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food preparation equipment
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, dining areas, and workstations
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
Schedule
- Typically 3–4 days per week
- Restaurant shifts generally begin as early as 8:30 AM and end as late as 3:30 PM
- Additional evening hours are available on Fridays (typically 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM)
- Special event shifts may occasionally extend as late as 10:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling available
Helpful Experience (not required)
- Restaurant, fast food, or food service experience
- Customer service experience
- Cash handling or point-of-sale (POS) experience
- Food preparation or cooking experience
- Dishwashing or kitchen support experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Pay: $13.73 per hour
