Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher
1-Tom Plumbing is a new and growing plumbing company looking for an experienced, motivated Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher to join our team.
We are building something from the ground up, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of that growth. The right person will be organized, professional, confident on the phone, great with customers, and able to keep technicians moving efficiently throughout the day.
What You'll Do
- Answer incoming customer calls professionally and courteously
- Schedule plumbing service appointments
- Dispatch technicians based on location, skill set, urgency, and availability
- Communicate with customers regarding appointment times and technician arrival
- Keep technicians updated throughout the day
- Monitor and adjust the daily schedule as needed
- Handle emergency and same-day service requests
- Follow up with customers regarding appointments and completed work
- Enter customer and job information accurately into our software
- Communicate pricing and service information to customers when appropriate
- Help maximize technician productivity and daily revenue
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally
- Coordinate between customers, technicians, and management
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
What We're Looking For
- Previous CSR, dispatcher, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, restoration, or home-service experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong phone presence
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm when the schedule gets busy
- Professional and positive attitude
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable working with computers and scheduling software

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends or after-hours availability as needed
