Semi-monthly salary: The current rate for this position is $2,567.14. Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).
Job Location: This position is located at the Howerton State Office Building; 615 Howerton Court, Jefferson City, MO. All internal promotional applicants are encouraged to apply as there may be alternate office space available.

Responsibilities - What you’ll do
- Supports the operation of the Managed Care Rate Setting Unit in all aspects of the Managed Care 1915b waiver, the 1115 Waivers (i.e. Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Show-Me Healthy Babies (SMHB)), the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), and Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT).
- Reconciles the monthly capitation and delivery payments.
- Manages and maintains large databases and spreadsheets.
- Gathers, analyzes, interprets, and extracts claims, expenditures, and member month data into reports for budget projections and monthly financial claiming.
- Reviews and reports financial data on a quarterly and annual basis for the Managed Care, NEMT, and PACE providers.
- Researches and analyzes claims information.
- Assists supervisor with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications - All you need for success
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
Preferred Qualifications:
The person in this position should have a strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, the ability to work independently, to be a team player, and have great time management skills. Experience with eMMIS, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access is a bonus.
