Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and shape the company's fiscal future. The CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while driving growth through innovative financial strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to influence our company’s success at a strategic level.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's goals, including mergers & acquisitions and business development initiatives
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other relevant standards such as ASC 606 and COSO frameworks
- Manage risk analysis, regulatory reporting, and compliance to safeguard company assets and ensure legal adherence across all financial activities
- Lead treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and funding strategies to optimize liquidity
- Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret complex financial statements, and communicate insights effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Drive budgeting processes, expense management, cost control initiatives, and financial projection model development to support strategic planning
- Supervise finance team members, fostering leadership development while maintaining high standards of accuracy in financial reporting
Skills
- Extensive experience with risk management, and regulatory reporting standards
- Proven expertise in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, fundraising, and business development strategies
- Strong knowledge of revenue management, profit & loss analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management techniques
- Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software such as SAP, Oracle Financials or similar platforms
- Deep understanding of industry-specific financial regulations including IAS (International Accounting Standards) and GAAP
- Excellent skills in financial analysis, report writing, interpretation of financial statements, and strategic planning
- Demonstrated leadership in managing finance teams, fostering collaboration across departments, and guiding executive decision-making
- Ability to navigate complex technical accounting issues such as ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and tax accounting practices
