Mattress Delivery and Installation Specialist
Join our team as a Mattress Delivery and Installation Specialist, where you’ll be responsible for delivering and installing mattresses, box springs, bed bases, pillows, bedding, and some furniture in both residential and commercial settings. This position operates as part of a two-person team and emphasizes exceptional customer service, professional interactions, and careful product handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and install mattresses, box springs, bed bases, pillows, bedding, and occasional furniture.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines to ensure safe and high-quality installations.
- Provide outstanding customer service to builders, designers, and on-site clients.
- Attend company-sponsored training to stay updated on product changes and installation methods.
- Perform driving duties and assist with other tasks as needed.
- Use equipment such as stair climbers and oven lifts for heavy lifting.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license (required for drivers); minimum age of 26 for drivers, 21 for helpers.
- Ability to obtain a Medical DOT card, if not already held.
- Able to frequently lift 50+ pounds and occasionally lift up to 90 pounds.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and follow safety guidelines, manuals, and installation instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in labor, delivery, or installation preferred.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
