The Ingleside Hotel and Springs Water Park in Pewaukee is hiring an entry level sales associate to solicit, book, document and detail birthday party business. Responsible for all aspects of creating, setting up, contracting and detailing events. Position is FT 30+ hrs/wk, with a Saturday or Sunday required weekly. Wage $18/hr + benefits.
- Provide first point of telephone contact for birthday parties during work hours.
- Assess the space needs of clients, determining terms, and contracting business resulting from inquiries and solicitation efforts.
- Ensure the accuracy of bookings (i.e. accountable for accurate Salesforce input, appropriate booking of space, appropriate menu and beverage selections, proper information to hotel staff, follow through on cancellations/charges/changes, and effective communication of information to all affected departments).
Requires:
- Attention to detail with good organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency required; Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of sales process.
