We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Composite Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating, assembling, repairing, and finishing composite materials and components while following quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cut, and lay up composite materials according to specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment safely
- Perform trimming, sanding, grinding, and finishing of composite parts
- Inspect products to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Report equipment or quality concerns to supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or composite experience preferred
- Ability to read measurements and follow technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Work Environment
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and industrial equipment
- PPE required in designated work areas
