Overview
This on-site position located in Medina, OH requires candidates to have reliable transportation to commute daily. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and products, supporting our commitment to excellence in fabrication and construction projects. Responsibilities
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal parts
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards and ASME codes
- Measure and mark materials using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure precise cuts and assemblies
- Operate fabrication shop equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, pipe threading tools, and sheet metal fabrication machinery
- Use hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and machining tools safely and efficiently during fabrication processes
- Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and other metal materials for construction or manufacturing projects
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), forklift operation, and site safety procedures on construction or fabrication sites
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction sites or in a fabrication shop environment with a strong understanding of mechanical fabrication principles
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting mechanical blueprints accurately
- Hands-on experience with welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and soldering
- Familiarity with measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, shop math calculations, and schematics for precise fabrication work
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to metal fabrication and welding practices
- Ability to operate power tools safely including press brakes, grinders, drills, saws, and rigging equipment
- Construction experience preferred; sheet metal and ductwork installation or assembly is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for efficient production

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
