Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Industrial and Commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to HVAC design and property maintenance.
- Perform service technician tasks such as equipment repair, system upgrades, and routine inspections.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems and ammonia refrigeration as needed.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and welding equipment for repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and field service techniques.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities and system performance.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, service technician roles, or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration and electrical systems.
- Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
- Experience with field service operations involving air conditioning systems and equipment troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus.
- Mechanical or technical training in HVAC or related fields is required.
- Valid driver’s license for travel between job sites.
- Additional skills such as boiler operation experience, mechanic experience, or expertise in maintenance are advantageous.
- This position requires a motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills who can work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality service in diverse environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
