Assistant General Manager – Full Time Salary Paid Position
Must have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of a 24-hour hotel business. Must have at least 2 years of prior hotel management experience.
Growing, independently owned hotel in the South Kansas City area is seeking an experienced, dependable Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team.
This is a hands-on management position for someone who enjoys hospitality, problem-solving, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily hotel operations
- Supervising and supporting front desk and housekeeping teams
- Guest service and issue resolution
- Scheduling and staff accountability
- Training new employees
- Revenue management and basic reporting
- Ensuring brand standards and property cleanliness
- Assisting the General Manager with administrative duties and special projects
Qualifications:
- Hotel management or hospitality experience preferred
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Strong customer service and leadership skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to multitask
- Experience with hotel property management systems is a plus
- Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
