Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service while enjoying their meals.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience with serving tables and providing excellent guest relations.
- Familiarity with toast POS or similar restaurant management systems is preferred.
- Culinary knowledge is an asset, particularly in understanding menu items and preparation methods.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on guest service.
- Previous experience in food service is advantageous but not mandatory.
