Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of Epic Cadence applications to meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, system engineers, and clinical staff to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including workflows, technical specifications, and troubleshooting guides.
- Perform system integration tasks involving Service-oriented architecture (SOA), APIs (RESTful and SOAP), and database systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Manage system updates, patches, and version control to ensure stability and security within the enterprise environment.
- Conduct thorough testing of solutions using Agile methodologies, including continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines with tools like Jenkins or Git.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support for Epic Cadence applications, resolving issues related to system design, configuration management, load balancing, and security protocols such as cloud security measures or firewalls.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Epic Cadence or similar enterprise scheduling systems within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture principles including service-oriented architecture (SOA), systems integration, and application development.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with database management systems like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), cloud platforms (AWS), and network security (VPNs, GPOs).
- Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban, and DevOps tools like Jenkins or Git for version control.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across diverse teams while demonstrating strong business analysis skills to align IT solutions with organizational goals.
