We are seeking a skilled, passionate, and creative Chef de Cuisine to join our culinary team at Z Hospitality Group. Our restaurants are located across Westchester County, NY, and Southern Fairfield County, CT. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with our Executive Chefs to oversee kitchen operations, ensure food preparation meets our high standards, and lead the team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills and extensive experience in high-volume kitchens.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.-
- Proficiency in all kitchen stations, including strong knife skills and basic butchering.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- A flexible schedule, including availability for days, nights, and weekends.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and a valid food handler's permit.
- An understanding of food cost and waste control.
- Commitment to maintaining equipment and kitchen cleanliness.
