Warehouse Operations Manager/Distribution Center Manager

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Candidates must be flexible to start earlier or stay later based on business volume and operational needs
This role requires someone who is committed and willing to put in the hours necessary to support distribution center operations
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations for a growing organization in Northeast Ohio. This leadership role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a strong background in warehouse management, team development, operational performance, and process improvement.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading warehouse operations, driving efficiency, maintaining service standards, and creating a positive, high-performing work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple operational functions in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall warehouse and distribution center operations including receiving, shipping, inventory, and returns
- Lead daily operational activities to ensure productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction goals are achieved
- Develop and lead warehouse staff through hiring, coaching, training, and performance management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices, including Lean methodologies
- Monitor operational KPIs related to quality, safety, service levels, and productivity
- Work closely with customer service, supply chain, sales, and internal teams to support business objectives
- Maintain a safe, organized, and performance-driven warehouse environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing warehouse, logistics, or distribution center operations
- Proven experience leading warehouse teams and improving operational performance
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with inbound/outbound operations, inventory management, and warehouse processes
- Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
