CORE HOURS M-F 12pm - 8:30PM
JOB SUMMARY:
The responsibility of the Team Lead is to lead employees of the Packaging/Warehouse/Shipping departments by example while overseeing the meeting of goals set for the BPI area. Daily responsibilities include training, planning, assigning, and directing work, participating in rewarding good work and elevating disciplinary needs to Supervisors. Team Leads will also be responsible for addressing complaints and elevating personnel issues to the HR department, troubleshooting, supporting safety and continuous improvement. Team Leads will also fill in for Warehouse/Shipping/Packaging Specialists when absenteeism occurs at a level that threatens meeting goals.
Essential Functions:

Leadership Training/Experience.

Responsible for using efficient and safe processes to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Maintains quality oriented processes in the workplace.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Follows all documented and accepted policies and procedures with special attention to safety.
- Reports any and all hazards, injuries and near misses to Supervisor
- Participates in safety improvements such as job hazard analysis, audits, and inspections.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coach team members, with excellent attendance.
- Computer and database application, accurate data entry skills, and good organizational skills
- JDE experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Performs other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of safety and practices and expectations, and knowledge of respect for product.

Actively participating in Bergstrom’s continuous improvement environment.

Warehouse/Shipping experience and previous team lead experience.

Basic knowledge of JDE, and intermediate knowledge of RFGen.
The starting rate is at $20/hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the desired level of experience for the position.
