Position Overview
A prominent healthcare organization—a nonprofit network of five Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) serving Los Angeles—is seeking a Business Analyst to support strategic growth initiatives, including acquisitions and partnerships with healthcare organizations throughout Southern California.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role offers hands-on mentorship and exposure to finance, business strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and healthcare operations. It is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional looking to build a career in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and strategic development.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential healthcare acquisition and partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of medical practices, dental groups, FQHCs, and other healthcare organizations.
- Analyze healthcare market trends, financial data, and industry trends.
- Conduct outreach and coordinate meetings with prospective partners.
- Assist with financial modeling, valuation analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Support due diligence by reviewing financial, operational, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate project timelines and collaborate with internal teams and external partners throughout the acquisition process.
- Track project milestones and provide analytical support for strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in business analysis, corporate finance, healthcare administration, consulting, investment banking, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; financial modeling experience is preferred.
- Understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles.
- Strong interest in healthcare, nonprofit organizations, and strategic business growth.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
