Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and proactive Community Liaison / Business Development Representative to serve as a vital bridge between our organization and the community. Position Summary
The Community Liaison is responsible for developing relationships with hospitals, physician offices, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, case managers, social workers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals to increase referrals and promote Lavim Care’s services.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources throughout our service area.
- Visit hospitals, physician offices, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and community organizations.
- Educate healthcare professionals about Lavim Care’s services.
- Represent the company at networking events and community outreach activities.
- Generate qualified referrals for skilled and non-skilled home care services.
- Follow up with prospective clients and referral partners.
- Maintain accurate records of marketing activities and referral contacts.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure a smooth client intake process.
- Meet established business development goals
- .Develop and implement community outreach strategies to effectively engage residents, organizations, and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, media outlets, and public officials through regular communication and collaboration.
- Plan and deliver compelling public presentations for community outreach events, workshops, and informational sessions.
- Manage social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns to promote community programs and organizational initiatives.
- Coordinate volunteer programs, manage volunteer recruitment, training, and recognition efforts to support outreach activities.
- Collect data on community needs and feedback to inform strategic planning and program development.
- Organize events, workshops, and public relations activities that enhance community awareness and participation.
Experience/Qualifications
- Required: 2-3 years of experience in home health, nurse registry, hospice, healthcare marketing, medical sales, or business development preferred.
- Required: Established relationships with hospitals, physician offices, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, social workers, and discharge planners within service area.
- Demonstrate ability to generate referrals and grow client census.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Familiarity with the local healthcare community is a plus.
- Proven experience in community outreach, public relations, or related fields with a strong focus on community engagement.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to deliver engaging public presentations.
- Experience managing social media platforms and executing social media marketing campaigns.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with media relations, public speaking, project management, and customer service best practices.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse populations effectively.
- Demonstrated success in relationship management, strategic planning, budgeting, and client communication.
- Prior volunteer management or community management experience is a plus.
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
