Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order picker, and pallet jacks in accordance with OSHA and safety standards.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using equipment like lift trucks and barcode scanning systems for logistics accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders with precision using order picker tools and warehouse management systems to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, updating records in warehouse management systems, and organizing materials for easy access.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries.
- Perform routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow manual handling protocols and heavy lifting safety standards to prevent injuries during daily tasks.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory management practices.
- Prior experience in order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and general warehouse safety standards.
- Experience with manual handling techniques and heavy equipment operation to ensure safe lifting and movement of goods.
- Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse operations management is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
