AMH Office Receptionist

As the first person our clients, guests, and callers interact with, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression of our company. The AMH Receptionist will greet all visitors with warmth and courtesy, directing them appropriately and notifying AMH personnel of visitor arrival. In the same way, calls will be handled and directed with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Greet clients, vendors, applicants, and guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Process applicants according to HR procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, conference room, and other common areas
- Assist with scheduling, filing, mail processing, and other general administrative/clerical tasks.
- Provide outstanding customer service to everyone who contacts or visits our office.

- Friendly, dependable, courteous, and high level of professionalism in appearance and conduct
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

The A.M. Haire Receptionist serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; and maintains security and telecommunications system.
1. Greet guests / callers warmly as they enter office; direct them accordingly
o Applicants, Drivers, Vendors and various Visitors
2. Receive Applicants for prospective employment
o Determine if Plant applicant or Driver applicant
o Capture ID’s and other required info
o Attach and give to HR (Plant applicants) Kevin Goins (driver applicants)
3. Receive Mail; ensure outgoing mail is picked up
o Sort and deliver daily to preferred persons as referenced.
4. Ensure your area, the reception area, and the conference room are presentable at all times
o Windows (no prints, magazines displayed neatly)
o Water plants/flowers, discards trash lying around
o Use Swifter on lobby and hall floor, when needed
o Monitor working and scrolling truck/company photos
o Conference room is clean, neat, and ready for meeting
5. Maintain Coffee Break Area
o Ensure all items are organized, sorted, and the area is clean. Report shortages.
6. Maintain Ladies’ Restroom Facilities
o Ensure toiletries (tissues, paper towels, soaps, fresheners) are stocked
7. Assist in Accounts Payable however needed
o Match Packing slips, Stuffing envelopes, adding postage, etc.
8. Perform other clerical duties as needs arise
o Fax, printing, scanning, etc.(see Kathy/Misti)
9. Handle other administrative tasks for various individuals or departments.
