We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent situations effectively while ensuring client safety and well-being.
- Provide specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and behavioral management for clients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Maintain thorough medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, including detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records using appropriate medical terminology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts to coordinate care plans for inpatient or outpatient clients across clinical research settings or hospital environments.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and data collection protocols.
Experience
- Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC)/(Assocciate);, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/(LCSWA), or equivalent state licensure with active certification.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or behavioral therapy in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Demonstrated expertise working with children, adolescents, or geriatrics—particularly those with disabilities or complex mental health needs.
- Experience in crisis management and crisis intervention techniques within hospital or community-based environments.
- Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with CPT coding is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for patient confidentiality.
- Prior telehealth experience is preferred; candidates should be comfortable utilizing digital platforms for remote patient care.
