Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and perform cashiering duties with precision.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations through bussing and sanitation practices.
- Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving orders promptly to ensure quick service delivery.
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food quality throughout your shift.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and quick service restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
- Previous restaurant or retail experience is a plus; familiarity with café or grocery store operations is beneficial.
