Duties
- Receive, unload, and properly store incoming shipments using RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Stock shelves efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory control and management records
- Conduct regular inventory checks to identify discrepancies and ensure stock accuracy
- Assist with product merchandising, packaging, and labeling to promote a clean and appealing shopping environment
- Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse or retail space by performing routine cleaning tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries about product locations or stock availability
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience or retail store experience preferred; familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools safely
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock management
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while practicing safe lifting procedures
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and managing inventory quantities accurately
- Knowledge of retail sales processes, grocery store operations, or merchandising practices is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety standards at all times
