The Crescent Academy is growing and in need of additional teaching staff! We are currently accepting teacher applications for our Middle and High School program in the subject areas of Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies! Full or Part time teaching positions are available!
Primary duties include the preparation and execution of rigorous lesson plans aligned to New York’s NextGen curriculum. Teachers create and support a safe and positive learning environment which fosters the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social potential of each student. Additionally, teachers maintain daily attendance records, frequent parent communication, and timely student progress reports, while also arranging extra-curricular learning experiences and field trips, completing staff development opportunities, and creating a constructive discipline policy.
