We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of maintenance experience and be motivated, reliable, and growth-oriented. This role is responsible for addressing maintenance and service needs at a multifamily residential property, with the goal of maximizing resident satisfaction, property efficiency, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance troubleshooting, carpentry, and drywall repair
- Communicate effectively with the Property Manager and Service Manager
- Assist with unit turns (make-readies) to ensure units are move-in ready
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Maintain an organized and clean maintenance shop
- Collaborate with team members and support one another as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to residents
- Manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks appropriately
- Proactively identify and address potential maintenance issues
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience (preferred)
- General knowledge of construction and property maintenance
- Reliable transportation
- Must provide own hand tools
