We are actively seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to join our team and provide exceptional support to seniors in need of personalized care in the Columbia midlands area. Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor patient health by observing and recognizing symptoms of illness or distress, and reporting changes to management.
- Following care plans and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, or community activities to promote social engagement.
- Utilize proper patient transfer methods and techniques to ensure safety during mobility assistance.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment that encourages independence and well-being.
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and communicate effectively with clients’ families or healthcare teams.
- Support clients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer’s care, dementia care and hospice support.
Requirements
- In-home caregiving experience.
- Ability to perform lifting and transferring tasks safely.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
- Must own transportation and have valid drivers license/auto insurance.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
