Boone Brands, a food manufacturer located in Sanford, NC, has immediate openings for full time Production Operators to assist in the production, assembly, and packaging of food products.
This position offers an hourly schedule each week during the first shift. The first shift is mainly scheduled at 7:00am to 4:00pm (Monday - Friday with some Saturdays). The position offers an hourly wage of $15 – $18 per hour, depending on experience.
Associates must have the ability to work in an environment that is wet and humid, with temperature changes.
The Production Operators must be able to work as a team along with other members of the crew, and be flexible and willing to perform varying tasks per the supervisor's instructions and in accordance with all safety guidelines mandated by the employer. The employee will be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on occasion, and do repetitive tasks.
Associates must have the ability to frequently lift/move water hoses, equipment, and containers weighing up to 20-30 lbs. throughout the shift. Candidates must also wear employer-specified protective gear, including gloves, face/eye shields, aprons, boots, etc.
