Utility Locator – Growing Telecommunications Company

The Position:
We're looking for a Locator that can locate underground fiber, telephone, and cable TV utilities. Familiarity with CAD and ESRI-based programs is preferred. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in a support role.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic computer skills for accessing maps and entering data
- Ability to collaborate with other utilities
- Ability to interact professionally with the public
- Proficiency in operating locate equipment
- Ability to read and interpret maps
- Knowledge of telephony hardware and underground facilities
- Must be insurable under the Company’s auto insurance carrier
- Dependable and consistent attendance
- Self-motivated
- Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
Physical Requirements
- Extensive walking required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
