We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Waterproofing Technician to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of waterproofing materials
- Install waterproof membranes, coatings, sealants, and caulking in accordance with project specifications
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring proper coverage and adherence to safety standards
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute waterproofing plans
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades such as plumbing, roofing, carpentry, and masonry to coordinate tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency during operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in waterproofing application or related construction fields such as roofing, masonry, or restoration
- Knowledge of various waterproofing techniques including membrane installation, caulking, plastering, stucco application, and concrete finishing
- Familiarity with construction management practices and inspection procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely on active job sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality standards
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate construction vehicles if required
