Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities performed by staff, ensuring all tasks meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Lead team members in industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, including sanitation, janitorial duties, laundry, and specialized cleaning projects
- Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations to promote efficiency and professionalism
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational readiness
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper sanitation practices are maintained
- Address any issues or concerns from staff or clients promptly, providing clear managerial communication and solutions
- Promote a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and effective management techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning with standards.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a cleaning.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
- Strong communication skills suitable for managerial interactions with staff, clients, and vendors
- Knowledge of janitorial procedures, management, and safety protocols applicable to commercial environments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Prior experience with cleaning is a plus
