We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Round Rock, Texas. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting interventional radiologists by preparing patients, operating advanced imaging equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring high-quality imaging throughout a variety of vascular and non-vascular procedures.

Duties
- Operate and maintain advanced radiologic imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, CT, PET scan, mammography, DEXA scan, and nuclear medicine devices to produce clear and accurate images for diagnostic evaluation.
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, angiograms, embolizations, and other minimally invasive treatments, ensuring optimal patient positioning and image quality.
- Implement strict radiation safety procedures to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure while adhering to regulatory standards.
- Provide exceptional patient care by preparing patients for procedures, explaining processes clearly, and ensuring their comfort throughout imaging sessions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in urgent care, emergency room settings, and Level I or Level II trauma centers to support emergent diagnostic evaluations and interventions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, equipment calibration records, and radiation dose reports in compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure aseptic techniques are followed during invasive procedures to prevent infections and promote patient safety.
Minimum Qualifications
● Current ARRT (R) certification.
● Active Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License.
● Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
● Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging procedures, radiation safety, sterile techniques, and patient care.
● Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment and participate in an on-call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
● Previous Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred.
● Experience assisting with vascular, neurovascular, cardiac, or other image-guided minimally invasive procedures.
● Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
● ACLS certification is a plus.

● Three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12)
● On-call rotation required
Compensation
● $90,000 – $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
● $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
