Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining aseptic techniques and infection control standards
- Take xrays
- Manage patient records accurately using Open Dental software
- Provide patient education on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist and managing medical documentation and records
- Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures across specialties including prosthodontics and endodontics to assist effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental assisting procedures
- Familiarity with Open dental
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization processes
- Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety standards
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and various dental specialties including pediatric dentistry and general dentistry
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients of all ages
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant training; additional certifications in medical coding or pediatrics are a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
