We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and construction practices, along with the ability to accurately interpret project drawings and specifications, perform takeoffs, and develop competitive project estimates. This individual should be highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines while working closely with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and other members of the team.

Review electrical drawings, specifications, blueprints, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.

Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

Perform detailed material and quantity takeoffs from project plans and specifications.

Obtain and evaluate pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Identify scope gaps, potential risks, discrepancies, and value-engineering opportunities.

Prepare bid proposals, cost summaries, and supporting estimating documentation.

Review addenda and project revisions and adjust estimates as needed.

Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and other departments to ensure estimates accurately reflect project requirements.

Assist with change order pricing and additional project estimates as needed.

Maintain organized estimating records and track historical project costs to improve future estimating accuracy.

Stay current on electrical material pricing, labor costs, electrical codes, and industry trends.

Previous experience in electrical estimating, electrical construction, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, equipment, and construction practices.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

Experience performing material takeoffs and estimating labor requirements.

Knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical systems and projects.

Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and industry standards.

Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
