8:15am to 5:00pm, M-F
Position responsibilities include assisting with the operation of the Circuit Court and the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office primarily in the Probate/Estate Division. This position must maintain confidentiality. Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Clerk of the Circuit Court.
Requirements:
Meets with probate/estate customers, reviewing, receipting, and processing various probate filings.
Interacts with court personnel, attorneys, and the general public.
Answers and routes incoming calls; greets visitors and assists or directs to appropriate party for disposition.
Maintains various filing systems.
Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested by management.
Participates in employee meetings and training as needed.
Performs special projects as assigned.
Meets attendance requirements and maintains the highest level of dependability.
Consistently demonstrates ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, and reprioritizes work as necessary.

Preferred Experience:
Minimum – high school graduate with experience/education in general office procedures.
Prior experience working as a paralegal or in a court/clerk’s office environment. Working knowledge of all matters of probate.
Working knowledge of court management system and related scanning/imaging software.
