Job Description: As a Housekeeper at Parkway Manor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community. Your work will ensure a safe and pleasant environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
- Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other laundry items as needed.
- Remove trash and replace liners in all assigned areas.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to the supervisor.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and used properly.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and seasonal tasks as directed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or residential setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
