Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability in guest services, upselling techniques, and building positive guest relations
- Experience with food industry tools like cash handling, cashiering, and basic math for transactions
- Background in hospitality or serving roles with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration
