Job Title: Club House Crew
Reports to: Clubhouse Manager/Director of Operations
Department: Clubhouse
Location: Union League National Golf Club (1765 US Rte 9 N, Swainton, NJ 08210)
Description: Responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness and upkeep of the clubhouse and banquet areas.
THIS IS A SEASONAL, PART TIME POSITION FROM APRIL 1 -NOVEMBER 15. SHOULDER SEASON HOURS WILL FLUCTUATE AND IN SEASON HOURS MAY MAX OUT AT 40HRS/WEEK.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to safely handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc.
- Maintain the clubhouse in sanitary condition through washing, cleaning & maintenance of equipment and furnishings
- Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment such as vacuums, power washer, leaf blower, etc.
- Responsible for disposal of trash, waste & other disposable materials
- Empty all trash containers throughout clubhouse daily
- Clean and sanitize clubhouse and kitchen bathrooms.
- Maintain highest level of cleanliness standards in public clubhouse spaces (dining room, Golf Shop, etc.).
- Maintain outdoor space to a standard of comfort and cleanliness, including but not limited to removing plant debris from the patio, tidying the Cigar Lounge, and removing accumulated grime from tables and chairs as appropriate.
- Mop Floors, Clean & Sanitize Men’s & Ladies Locker Room including showers, toilets and changing rooms
- Restock restroom supplies in lady’s restroom, men’s & ladies locker rooms
- Keep the employee area clean.
- Wash/Dry dirty towels and restock in locker rooms
- Maintain on course restrooms a minimum 2x daily during golf season.
- Offices of club to be vacuumed and mopped every other day and garbage taken out daily
- Reports any needed repairs immediately to supervisor
- Maintains groomed appearance and wears approved uniform at all times while on club property.
- Maintain clear channels of communication with supervisor
- Assist in set up and break down of clubhouse events, including but not limited to the set up and breakdown of furniture, setting event spaces to a diagram, and shuttling equipment in/out of external storage trailers as needed.
- Take pride in maintaining the quality of all equipment, including tables, chairs, and soft seating. Should a piece of equipment not meet the standard, work with your supervisor for the best action plan to restore that item.
- Mandatory Workdays – Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Member Guest (1st Thursday-Saturday in October), any weddings/major events that may arise with advanced notice
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid US Driver’s license.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
