Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and customer service stations
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service
- Handle food handling procedures, including food safety protocols and proper food preparation techniques
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
