Position: ReStore Representative Reports To: ReStore Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 9:30 A.M. – 6:30 P.M.
Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour, paid biweekly on Fridays

Position Summary
The ReStore Representative is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while supporting the daily operations of the Habitat ReStore. This position assists customers with purchases, maintains an organized and welcoming sales floor, operates the cash register, and helps ensure the store remains clean, safe, and well stocked. The ReStore Representative works closely with the ReStore Manager and other team members to provide an exceptional shopping experience while supporting Habitat for Humanity's mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist customers with purchases, questions, and loading merchandise when needed.
- Help receive, organize, and display merchandise throughout the sales floor.
- Rearrange merchandise and displays to maintain an attractive shopping environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, checkout area, restrooms, break room, and warehouse as assigned.
- Assist with stocking shelves and pricing merchandise.
- Follow all store safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Work cooperatively with volunteers and fellow staff members.
- Represent Lubbock Habitat for Humanity in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the ReStore Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
Work Environment
This position requires working in a retail and warehouse environment with frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and interacting with customers and donors. Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
