Heale Counseling is seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)to join our team. This role offers a mix of in-person and telehealth services, making it a great fit for a provider who values flexibility, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
Location: Southaven, MS ( in-person)
Schedule: Full/Part-Time (W2 position Mon-Friday)
Compensation: Salary + Bonus
What You’ll Do
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up appointments for a diverse client population.
- Provide care for individuals with co-occurring disorders, including substance use and mental health diagnoses.
- Collaborate closely with our Board-Certified Psychiatrist and Board-Certified Addictionologist for case consultations and treatment planning.
- Utilize available resources including Spravato (esketamine) treatments, diagnostic testing (e.g., QB Testing), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and point-of-care testing with in-house phlebotomy services.
- Coordinate care with our in-house team of LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, IOP facilitators, Behavior Analysts, and Peer Supports to ensure holistic, wraparound support for clients.
- Document all encounters and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner within the EHR system, completing documentation within 24-48 hours of each appointment.
- Participate in team meetings, clinical case reviews, and ongoing professional development.
What We’re Looking For
- Active PMHNP license and prescriptive authority in the state of Mississippi.
- Experience providing psychiatric care for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions preferred.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy and able to manage telehealth appointments efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with evidence-based approaches to mental health and addiction treatment.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Interest in using innovative tools and services to deliver high-quality care.
