About this Role:
The Architectural Designer at Aria Group is a pivotal member of the architectural and design team, actively contributing to technical and design tasks across all project phases.
Core Responsibilities:

Ensure precision and accuracy in drafting and Revit modeling standards.

Actively contribute to the preparation and submittal of design, bid and construction documents using technical and design software.

Collaborate with the project team to develop design features and detailed construction elements to effectively communicate design intent.

Research and compile information on new products essential for developing design packages and construction documents.

Apply judgment and creativity in evaluating, selecting, and applying standard architectural principles and concepts throughout the project.

Prepare project specifications and analyze relevant data under the guidance of the project team.

Demonstrate a basic understanding of building construction, MEP, civil, and structural engineering principles.

Contribute to the completion of code analysis, surveys, site planning and occupancy studies.

Communicate effectively with code officials, consultants and general contractors.

Prepare notes, review shop submittals, and respond to RFIs during the construction phase under direct supervision.

Maintain proactive communication with senior staff to provide regular updates assigned tasks and project status.

Learn and implement Aria Group’s established project processes and standards.

Pursue continuous education to expand knowledge of building technology, life safety, ADA code compliance, and current design trends.

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through daily interactions with the project team, clients, partners and the community.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited school.

1-3 years of experience in an architectural or design firm.

Strong interest in technical development and architectural documentation

Experience within the restaurant/hospitality/entertainment sector is a plus.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required.

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, SketchUp, Enscape and Microsoft Office is a plus.
