Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified ASL (American Sign Language) Onsite Certified Interpreter to provide in-person interpretation services. The ideal candidate will facilitate clear and accurate communication between Deaf/Hard of Hearing individuals and hearing parties in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and professional ASL interpretation during onsite assignments
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and ethics
- Arrive on time and be prepared for scheduled assignments
- Communicate effectively with clients and coordinators
Requirements:
- Active ASL certification (RID or equivalent preferred)
- Proven experience with onsite interpretation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in various settings (medical, legal, community, etc.)
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical or legal interpreting experience
- Flexible availability
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rates (based on experience and certification)
