Our client, a leading organization in real-time operational support, is seeking a dedicated IT Operations Specialist to join their team. As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be part of the Technical Operations team supporting critical live systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: IT Operations Specialist
Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $60/hour + Benefits
What's the Job?
- Shadow and document live operational workflows, dependencies, and system interactions
- Map technical processes and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Ops, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering to streamline workflows
- Draft clear process documentation and provide improvement recommendations
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What's Needed?
- Strong technical documentation and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: Windows workstation support, real-time operations or command-center environments, TCP/IP networking, or systems administration
- Experience in NOC/SOC/Operations Center or equivalent 24x7 support environment is preferred
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platforms is a plus
